My birthday is lurking

I'm going to be 34 in July!  HOW?

It is not all down hill from there.   I will be turning 40 next March.  It is just a number, I don't worry about it.

Be happy you are only turning 31 in August I will be turning 50 . Its only downhill if you make to be downhill.  Relax you have a long way from being downhill anyways lol :D

I'll be 45 in December, though my daughter tells me I still act like a teenager at times.  I love getting the eyeroll from her :)

It is wonderful that you are in a such a happy place with your life right now.  I hope to be there someday!

As I approach 55, 31 sounds SO incredibly young. I can almost imagine your energy and agility. Things didn't really head downhill for me until close to 50, so you have a lot of good years left! Enjoy them! I have a feeling you will.

I turned 34 in February...it's just a number to me.  But, my son did tell me I looked like a teenager today!! :~)

It's not all that bad. I'll be 37 this August. Which I hate to think about.

It better not be as I just turned 30 and my life is not nearly as nice as yours. So we both better have some good years left or I am in trouble.  I am going through a divorce and essentially have to start my life over.

That is horrible. The having to start over part. I am sure there are reasons for the divorce part of it, and I hope you have some help and lots of big shoulders and listening ears for the times you need them.

At least I got my divorces out of the way before my 30's. That way I had lots of time for wonderful marriage #3 (I know... not that funny.)

I turned 82 last April, so if it is down hill from 31 then I have been going down hill for a long time. lol

I had the exact same feeling. 30 was fine... but 31 is the part where you suddenly fit the "over 30" mark. Like you are  on a downhill slope to "middle aged" or something.

In 2 days I turn 33, and trust me, it is all the same... But I have read studies recently that you should take better care of your major joints (knees, hips, ankles.) post 30 because from that point on you are more likely to have aches, pains, and small injuries. Not sure how huge it is in the scheme of things, but I am trying to do better.

I also felt that way about turning 25 and 26. 26 is where you start being in the "late 20's" group... I am sure I will feel the same when I get closer to my 36th birthday as well... Late 30's are right around the corner for me.

You have the life you want, and you're stressing over turning 31?

31 is young to me.  George made me laugh.  I think your life is going great and shouldn't worry about 31.
