I know this is late but I just got a brain storm. I am wanting to make a video to honor service men and woman who served in our country. If you are willing to be included or include a family member this is what I need from you.
1. Pictures prefer in uniform
2. Resting spots of service men and woman
3. Please include name EXACTLY how you want it in the video. I will be coping and pasting.
4. Please make sure these are your pictures or you have permission to use them for this purpose.
Please post your links to the pictures you are giving me access to. Don't forget to put the name in the comment again EXACTLY like you want it.
I am going to start the video tonight so if you will please get them to me ASAP. I know it will be late for Memorial Day but I hope many will be honored and know we thank you.
Also, if anyone has a mp3 or wav of you singing a song that would fit this theme, or a family member singing one that you would be willing to include please contact me. I would love to use it.
Please everyone pass this on so I can include as many service men and woman as possible.
If you don't want to leave a comment to this you may email the information to president@babyjamesfoundation.org
UPDATE: Since I am not getting many responces if you have pictures of Memorial Day of service men, service woman, or resting spots etc. and willing to let me use them that would help as well.

If someone wants to email me one instead you can do so at president@babyjamesfoundation.org

If you are able to scan one you can email it to me.
sorry, no military here...my brother was in the reserves for 8 years, years ago but that's been it
Name: R C Larlham
MOS: Medic - Regular Army (3-yr enlistment)
Rank - Spec 4
Photo taken some time in 1965 at Fort Sam Houston.
I was 23.
Thank you Chuck. Got the picture
Hope more wants to add as well.
My, Chuck, weren't you a handsome young man.
I would love to help with your great idea but I don't have any photos of my nephew. If I did I would send it to you.
This is a great idea, Renee. I would ask you to use a picture of my husband, but I don't feel comfortable giving out our last name for a video where everyone can see it, since I do have lots of pictures posted of him so people would know who it was. I don't like the idea of so many people knowing my son's full name mainly.
Carla you don't have to add his last name. Just however you want me to put it. If you don't want any name at all I can do that as well. Just let me know which picture you want me to use if you would like me to.
I will have to see if I can find one of my brother.
Thank you Janet please do
I wish i had pictures but i dont
Good luck.

Hi, and HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!. Thanks a lot for dropping by and making some nice remarks on some photo's ::)
The only photo I have of my dad who was a Korean War veteran is from his funeral. He was buried in his dress uniform. Great idea!
Yes that was a great idea.
What I meant, Renee, is that your idea of a video memorializing veterans is a great idea. :)
I do not have any pictures.
Military in my family but all still living. Thanks for doing this. You are such a sweet person.
Rachel they can still be living. It is anyone in the service.
I don't really have a photo of my grandpa in uniform. My grandma had the photo and it got passed down to my sister Tanya. And, I don't know where she lives.
Sigh.
great idea!
That is a wonderful idea Renee, don't think I can do it this year. Because have to find the photos, then scan them in and just don't have the time right now. I might have a couple will see what I can do.

Actually Robert I am working on it now. I will gladly add your dad.
Thank you for taking up this particular torch.
Renee,
You are amazing. Really! I don't have one of my Dad, but hopefully if you do this next year, I'll at least have one of his resting place. My photos were all lost when we moved back home from Florida. But his resting place is here in Connecticut.
Hugs,
Marilyn
Thank you Marilyn. I love making videos and is relaxing to me, the problem is finding free to use music. I am working on a few videos and was hoping to be further along with this one. The last few days haven't been good days for me as far as my health goes. I really wish I could get a lap top would make it easier on my bad days. Next year I will for sure do this so much ahead.
Renee - you are welcome to use any of my pictures that I took this year on Memorial Day at the Bay Pines National Cemetery in Florida. I think they might work well for your project. Here is the link to my article - Memorial Day 2009 - you can just click on any of the pics and copy them.
I'd rather not include a picture of my late husband, but if you would include this under one of my other pictures that would be great:
In memory of J. L. H. - Sergeant - U.S. Army
I sure will Rose thank you
A great idea, Renee...I'll mention it in the "Toll" on Sunday...
Thank you Dave

Going pretty good I am hoping either tomorrow night or Friday having a rough draft up for all to see. Got to go to get some papers done for James' adoption tomorrow afternoon, so not sure how much I will get done tomorrow.
