When the fresh rays of sunshine
played among the hazelnuts,
our paths met and turned.
The fungi scent spread in the forest
adding meaning to the autumn leaves carpet under our feet.
Scorching disbelief and doubt fell,
but we twisted our rainbow umbrella
to turn them into warm summer showers
that nourished our M&M's friendship
and made it bloom with elfin present-loving flowers.
Before the noon, we were already high,
in the steepest part of the slope;
stones rolled on the both of us,
but we, two breathtaking butterflies,
flew to the sun to catch her and sear our wings.
In the afternoon, hazel leaves whispered lullabies,
we made eights just above the surface;
two dragonflies daring the frogs;
laughed while running in the wheat
collecting bouquets of red sunrays to dry them on veranda.
The few hours of sunshine were years
for us living out the dawn of our lives;
we did not notice the sunset;
the nigh fell on us unaware
to find ourselves suffocating and drowning in the darkness.
We have withered with the dreams of yesterday,
headed towards our approaching adulthoods;
two dry petals of the same rose soaring apart on the wind.
We are waiting for some pitiful breeze to draw us closer
for the M&M's renaissance to take place.
