How is your Memorial Day weekend going?

Today I am working, Tomorrow.. I have a well deserved paid day off to spend with my family.. lots of food and laughing. Probably will make time to go to the pool today and tomorrow.

Just staying home here. The kids are outside playing, and wanting to get in the pool, but it sounds like bad weather is headed this way.

I hope you're feeling better soon.  I am sitting here, listening to the rain.  Yesterday, in between rain showers, we did go to a museum and I am working on getting all the photos done to do a photo essay or slideshow on here from it.

Hi Rebecca~ I love flea markets, have not been to one in years. We have a few festivals going on in the area. I missed the Strasburg May fest. They had the Lone Ranger there! lol

I always forget about the Strasburg mayfest, one of these years I'll remember to go to it!

Today the family is just hanging out. My daughter is going on a short road trip with some co-workers tomorrow so she's preparing for that. The rest of us are just enjoying being together and eating together. Nothing else planned. Melanie, I hope you can get rid of that cold soon!

I've been chillin out at home. Last night, my daughter and I watched "The Uninvited" and we want to watch it again. Creepy movie, but good!!! Maybe I should post a review on it.

We need to go and visit my Dad at the cemetary and afterwards, my hubby might BBQ.

Thank you Janie~ It's a clinger of one.. lol ~ Cant seem to shake it. A few of the family members are not doing too well. "health wise" I sure did not want to add my buggie to their problems.

I love "The Uninvited" it was pretty creep alright. I ordered "The Day the Earth Stood Still." I thought it was a pretty good remake.

I'd like to go visit my parents and brother at the cemetary. They are all three at the same one. But, I have no way to get there today. Hopefully by this Friday I'll get a chance.

Is it a Holiday?  No one told me or the animals, lol.  I am alone as usual.  Weeded a jungle of a flower bed for 2 hours, cleaned the barn.  Dog sitting my daughter's dog while she is at Ocracoke.  My son, I called, but it's his b'day tomorrow and he is MIA, lol.  Mason keeps eating horse poop and throwing up.  Oh yea, What a Fun time I am having.

  Sorry, you're still sick.  Least you'll get a plate of food when hubby gets home.  Get a stick to keep him away from it too! LoL!

Hope you are feeling better.  Was hoping to have the veggie garden in because it is a tradition here for Memorial weekend.  Since hubby and I must now depend on someone to rototill it for us, it rained today and that blew that.  I will have to transplant more things into bigger pots until it happens. That's okay, though. I'm good at that.  The deer are already finding the flowers I have planted and are eating them.  Don't know why I bother anymore, but it's one thing I do find left in life to enjoy.  Darn critters.

JF~ Thank you =) This dang bug sure is a clinger.. Sorry you did not get your garden done. I have not gotten much in ours. So far, onions and peas. I have watermelon, squash, cucumbers coming up in the house. Just need to get them transplanted.

I have the same problem with the deer and other critters. We put a fence around it. But the turtles seem to burrow under I guess. lol~ And the deer must be jumping in and out, I see their prints! =)

Last year, we lost the whole garden to Canadian Geese. Someone forgot to close the gate all the way. They destroyed it what they didn't eat they stomped to death...

My sister and I went and saw Star Trek.  We both really liked it. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Okay~ hubby remembered to bring me a plate home! =) His momma and two brothers fixed it up for me.. so nice it was~ grilled deboned chicken breast , roast beef, macaroni and cheese, cherry cobbler. And some kind of pasta that had beans, corn and peas in it.

It looked delicious~ But, I could not taste it!!  My mother-in-law is a great cook. So I could imagine how great tasted...... lol~ At least my belly is full ~ =)

We had family over yesterday for burgers on the grill.  It was a nice time.  I hope you feel better real soon.

I have my nieace and nephew here from out of town  and my son leave in three days  it is starting to hit me

Extraordinarily busy!  We've decorated around 30 or 35 graves in 5 local cemeteries and then drove up north to do my mom and dad's and other friends' graves as well....then, had to attend a graduation party.......our son, back from a 2 week trip in Italy, has been sick......trying to get rid of a lousy cough and cold but has to work tomorrow at the cemetery.....ughhhhh!  He has to then finish a college paper and we have to take him to his teacher's house (out of town) to hand deliver it.

While the kid's at work, hubby and I will go visit his dying sister.....I feel she's very close to death, with brain cancer that's gone into her spine.  She's already been told she's living on borrowed time. 

I'm so very, very tired from constantly "going" all weekend long.....am about ready to head to bed.

We're kind of hoping to take in a movie tomorrow night, "Night At the Museum In the Smithsonian," as I have three free movie tickets!  Need to relax!

I'm getting stuff done at home. Just went to Walmart for a few things. I have to go pick up my daughter in a few hours.

getting angrier at the second...some people are just so rude...the neighbors are playing music so loud that it is distorted and you can't hear anything in my own house

Sorry about your cold, we didn't do anything today, we were cooking out with the in-laws but it was raining tomorrow and they thought it would rain today so they cancelled it.  It didn't rain at all today......

We were going to grill some burger and just hang out at home. Baby is due in 4 short weeks so we have lots to do around the house anyway but now it is pouring rain here and grilling is NOT and option.

We've watched some movies and are now using the george foreman grill inside to cook up the burgers.

hope you feel better.. we had a decent weekend. Nt much just hanging around the house. The weather was beautiful until this evening when it rained and turned cooler..

we had a gorgeous memorial day weekend here.  lots of planting, opened up the pool, and, of course, a family barbeque.
