Our destiny?

You want to know our destiny?

It's oblivion.

That's what it is - Oblivion.

The sun will expand out in three or four or so billion years and

May or may not encompass the earth,

Then explode and wind up a white dwarf.

The Universe is headed to the - Big Rip

That will be caused by what is now known as,

Dark energy - where everything in the Universe,

Is moving away from everything else faster than anyone ever expected it would

This dark energy is so pervasive that in the end it will pull all the components of the atomic structures apart -

That will also include the black holes.

Or oblivion -

That's where we are headed.

These things are now known.

Perhaps that will be o.k., cause maybe we'll be finished with it (Earth) by then, anyway.
