I bet you didn't even know that there was a Dukes of Hazard Museum! Well there is, and I was lucky enough to get to visit it last week in Nashville.
It was a bit interesting, see some of my pictures....
The sign painted on the side of the building....remember Cooter?
The General Lee - everyone was excited to see this car!
The General Lee was a Dodge Charger~
Lots, and lots, and lots of memorabilia stuff.
The Sheriff's vehicle from the t.v. show.
Redneck Boy in the Promised Land, I had no idea that Cooter (Ben Jones), had written a book. Have you read it?
They had this bedroom all decorated in Dukes of Hazard stuff - it was a bit much!
The 01 1/2 General Lee! This must be the one that someone drives around town.
A parting shot of the General Lee
It was neat to see the General Lee, but all of the rest was a bit of an overload. I had no idea that there was enough stuff from the show to fill a museum, although it was somewhat small.
This is a free museum that anyone can go to. They are pretty nice to us there & give our travelers a bit of discount on purchases.
So...did you know there was even a museum for the Dukes of Hazard?
