Mmm.... I don't know why this particular post has been flagged. I see nothing flaggable in it. The only reason I can see might be if some of the pictures were nabbed from someone else's page or off the internet without permission. I'm sure Jule can find out if she cares to.

However Georgiana, even if there is no reason for this article to be flagged, your particular comments should most certainly be flagged if "flagging" has any meaning whatsoever in a real or virtual moderation kind of way.

Your comment above is out of the blue, off the wall, totally out of context, tangential, jarring like a tree in the middle of an interstate highway would be jarring (and not in a pleasant 'ooo how interesting' kind of way either).

Imagine if for some reason in some article you said, "My table is maple." Then imagine I respond by saying, "Well, it's maple because some new age idiot 'b' somewhere had an abortion."

Your imaginary table comment along with my imaginary response is a perfect example of how off the wall and irrelevant your real comment is in the context into which you injected it. My imaginary response to your table comment above would probably be offensive, as well as irrelevant; and jarring, as well as obviously said with an agenda. Just as your real comment on an article of flower photos was offensive, irrelevant, jarring, and obviously said with a not very well hidden agenda.

While I don't fault other commenters cause we have time constraints, we don't normally want to take the chance of standing face on with your kind of attitude, and most people here are probably like me ... we don't much like to make waves if no one else is making them; we don't want to lead. We don't want to make ourselves the center of attention or possibly the next 'victim' of your (or someone like your) open and progressive, inclusive, attitudes. We want to avoid being the target of your intolerant tolerance. In any case, there are lots of reasons others may not have spoken out including they agree with you or they just haven't had time as yet. So, I do not fault other commenters in particular for, so far, not speaking out - there are times when I do not speak out for many reasons ... times when I walk in their very shoes for one reason and another.

But even though I do not fault the commenters here, since I do understand some of the reasons no one has yet confronted you; your comment should be a conversation stopper, your comment should not be accepted so blandly or apathetically or even in any so-called non judgemental way. It should be judged by those with a modicum of compassion and /or moral character. Your comment should be offensive to anyone who says they think everyone should be able to believe what they want to believe without persecution ...

Unless the reason they haven't spoken up or won't speak up is that "they" whoever they might be at any given time, agree with you. In that case they should start saying they believe something much different and far closer to the truth ---- that you /they believe everyone but Christians should be able to believe whatever they want to believe.

There are some people here on Gather that are going around giving poor ratings, making censoship statements and generally picking on people because they are evil Christian Fundamentalist bastards!

All of the photos are very lovely.......it is rather upsetting that they got flagged......I guess there are some very unhappy people at Gather who, perhaps have no life, and they get their "thrills" from giving others "1" ratings, as well as flagging various articles.

i don't know, but they are beautiful. i don'g see any reason for them to be flagged.

I'm sorry, I can't name many of these flowers ... maybe one is hibiscus?  But they are all very beautiful. 

Jules you should contact Member Support or whichever contact title gets the attention of Chuck, who is one excellent person ALL the time.

Chuck has always helped me, from the first day last June I received timely and useful responses from him, he has never left me out in the cold. Chuck is a one man Gathering of Good Vibes if ever there was one! At this time he is helping me to get a handle on proper posting methods and troubleshooting my inexperienced stumbling attempts to navigate this E-meeting Garden of Growth and Human Connectedness!

I am entirely convinced that Energetic True Spirits are applying themselves assiduously and with pure intent. Except fot those new quarter-page ads that were blotting out the opening My Gather page last week, splashing themselves into the center stage until I clicked the elusive 'Close' X.

Don't want to see that kind of invasive advertising voodoo here.

The only thing I can think of is that someone might think that you took the photos from another persons website and made them yours.

Because of the tiny fine print on one of the photos, The web address that aol.com in it..

I don't know if the web address is yours. But if it isn't, that may be why this is flagged.

I for one think the photos are lovely and was just giving you a reason why this person did this.

Got some ferns and lilies, something that's probably not bluebells, and is that treefuscia? But that's my lot. Oh, and a hibiscus (we had one in our garden at our last house.)
