I have found a no-frills website where they have a complete curriculum for learning American Sign Language. This link takes you to the opening page which is filled with links to lessons. Most of the lessons contain written descriptions, pictures of the hand positions, and in some instances videos of a person signing the phrase or words.
American Sign Language (ASL) is usually taught concept by concept. I found the lessons to be easy enough that your children could do them along with you! Click here to take you to the website: http://www.lifeprint.com/asl101/lessons/lessons.htm
