If Cap and Trade goes into effect expect your utility bills to go up dramatically. Please don't think that electric and gas companies are going to let themselves loose any profit. The cost will be passed on to the consumer. Rep. Jason Chaffetz is looking for co-sponsors of a measure that would require full disclosure of the impact of “cap-and-trade” on ratepayers. This will allow consumers to see the exact cost of Cap and Trade that is passed on to them. If passed, Cap and trade, will be one of the largest tax increases ever imposed.
Call your rep and ask them join Chaffetz and get this passed. Remember....transparency is good!

Wow......we already pay like $199 a month on budget billing, for a very small, two-bedroom house.......it's just unreal, which, I supposed will end up skyrocking to about $300 a month if that all passes....yikes! Where will it all end? I guess hubby won't ever be retiring from trucking....LOL!

Also if we are going to become energy independent why aren't we using available technology to get us off the EXXON band wagon?
Obama is not trying to do anything at all to help clean up the environment or slow global warming.

The lines are busy to the Whitehouse - I couldn't get through. But I got through to almost every one of the Dem reps who are on the fence about this bill. I told them I just wanted to help them across that NO line ...
I did that after calling all of my own Congresspeople. As well as all my state reps to weigh in with my opinion on Card Check, Cap and Trade.
