Oh no.....I am deeply saddened, as Mickey Mouse has brought joy and happiness to millions of people, adults and kids alike, throughout the world. Mr. Allwine was an extremely talented man, and still quite young........this has been such a shock!
Thanks so much for sharing the videos......they are excellent! I absolutely love the music of the first video......very moving and lovely......the music on the second, however, was nice, as well, but in a different way.
He will be greatly missed!

Awww!!! He will be missed greatly.
Not that it makes a difference in the sad news, but your dates must be wrong. If he was born in 1977, he's not 62. Was it suppose to be 1947?
Thank you Rhetta for bringing that to my attention I fixed it.
This is so sad,I grew up watching Mickey Mouse cartoons, still like watching them.

James loves Mickey Mouse he has so many Mickey Mouse dolls you won't believe it.

It is sad indeed when the world has lost someone who has brought so much laughter to us. I wonder who will speak for Mickey next.
that's sad news....you can see how much attention I pay as I would have guessed he was gone years ago, but that must be the original Mickey voice...oh boy
Very sad news. The voice is a part of human history.
That is sad.
Very sad news.
Thanks, Renee, I hadn't heard this. I cried when Jim Henson died.
Oh that just hurts! I grew up with the original B&W Mickey, Steamboat Willie, etc., He will be greatly missed.
I read this on a crawler when we were watching something else. I'm a huge Disney fan. My favorite character is Jiminy Cricket. I met his animator a few years ago. Mickey was ok but never my favorite this man will be sorely missed.
How sad :( You never think of your childhood cartoon characters as leaving you.
:( How sad :(

Oooooh my goodness Renee, this sadden my heart when I learned this about Wayne Allwine passing. M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E was and always will be my favorite cartoon character. There could never be a replacement for Wayne, not for me anyway. :(
