Stacy Peterson's body may have been found about 20 miles away from the Illinois home of Drew Peterson. However, it could be the body of Lisa Stebic, who also disappeared two years ago from Plainfiled, IL. Drew Peterson has claimed all along that he did not kill Stacy, but that she disappeared with another man. The positive ID of the found body as Stacy Peterson would obviously put Drew away for a long time.

Channahon isn't that difficult to get to from Bolingbrook, right down I-55, less than 30-45 minutes at night.
I think body or no body he has a very good chance of never being a free man again.
It would be nice for closure and to clear her good name as her husband was basically calling her a slut.
I hope that at least one of the two missing girls' family can have some closure now. Hopefully they will be able to tell who it is sooner rather than making both families wait so long.
On another note, I don't see how any female could actually think about dating him much less marrying him now. I mean they think he killed what 2 of his ex's?
