I just got information about this another rewards/ gift earning place. Its called Homescan, part of The Nielsen Company. As a panel member, Homescan provides you with a hand-held scanner. Every time a members shops, you'll use the scanner to scan the barcodes on all of your purchases. Then, once a week, you are suppose to send them your purchase information..
They claim to offer great rewards better than anyone else of this sort.. Just curious if anyone on Gather uses this and what's their impression of this .. I am not sure if I want to join but sounds different...

I did, but I finally quit because I am like Vikki M! It just wasn't worth the time and bother and it was slowly down my computer really bad!

I've been doing it for quite a while now. It does take a little extra time with each shopping purchase, but once you get used to it, it's not bad. And, it takes a long time to earn enough points for the rewards, but they are good rewards offered. Another similar one that pays via debit card is shoppershotline.com
yup.. thats what I thought too. After shopping another chore to do.. But if the rewards are worth it, I won't mind spending some time
I've been doing this for some time as well. What Renita said is definitely the case, you do have to have the time and inclination for making shopping have one more chore added on to it, but you do quickly get accustomed and it becomes a habit in no time. The weekly transmission just takes a sec really and once you're rolling the points add up before you know it in my opinion. I also try for all the extra points offered, being sure to search for and complete all the surveys they offer garners you extra points and they give you bonus points from time to time and always for your anniversary with them and your birthday. The redemption values aren't bad either and it's quality stuff, no pay pal option however
