The winner of American Idol is...Kris Allen. I thought this was really shocking. I really admired the talent of Adam Lambert. I do this Kris has mass appeal, but even so I thought the ending was really shocking. The finale was awesome with alot of stars including Rod Stewart and Steve Martin on banjo. What do you think of the selection of Kris Allen as the new American Idol? Do you think he will maintain his popularity?

I'm happy with the outcome. I liked Adam too but he's already a star - on stage and his name will become even bigger with this experience. Its a win win situation.

I was disappointed too. I also felt Adam deserved to win. IMHO, I felt he was the best all-around performer. He good take any song and make it his own by putting his own spin on it. They're both winners and I think Adam will still go a long, long way!
I hope to see them both around in the future.
I was happy that Kris won myself. I think I got tired of the judges prasing Adam when Kris sounded good also. Adam to me sounded like he was screaming at times. At first I liked Adam but as the show went on I liked Kris better.

I wasn't surprised at all because of how people are calling and this is one show that needs to limit the number of times that one person can call.
