Remember back when they kept trying to find something "bad" about coffee? All they found was good stuff about it.
Here's an article about coffee I boiled down A LOT for you (so you wouldn't have to read and read):
Coffee is made up of over 1500 chemical substances - approximately 850 volatile and 700 soluble.
Coffee aroma is responsible for all its flavor, other than sweet, sour, bitter and salt tastes that are registered by the tongue.
A cup of espresso contains, on average, 78mg of caffeine while a cup of brewed coffee averages 120mg.
Coffee has a very high antioxidant content. Antioxidants have been widely linked to a number of potential health benefits including protection against heart disease and cancer.
In addition to coffee’s well-known ability to increase performance on mental and physical tasks, coffee drinking has been strongly linked to lowering the risk of colorectal and liver cancers, asthma, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.

Blessings and best wishes - S.
(I bet)
And I saved a lot of the bottles of wine for other nights.
I love coffee too. One of the nice things my husband does for me is make me my morning cup. Coffee actually helps me breath better. It works well when I have an asthma attack to open my airways. I hate using inhalers.
(maybe I'm just still drunk)
In fact, when I was ill I got a bad bad headache and not till last night did it go away...I had a cup of coffee.
I drink about 8 pots alone a day
A legal buzz that tricks me into thinking I want to get out of bed in the morning and do Pilates. =)
Happy Birthday Peter, you May babe!!! I have the numb face since I had a tooth pulled yesterday
Coffee is my favorite drink and smell...except I could not drink it when I was pregnant and the smell actually made me ill! So strange. But, after having the kids, I went back to loving it. The stronger the better, with half-n-half only. Starbucks is my favorite - dark roast. Hmmmmm.....
speaking of coffee, i need another cup right now.
