Bachelorette Jillian Harris Has Her Pick from 30 Guys- Sign Me Up!

The Bachelorette with Jillian Harris had its season premiere last night on ABC with an assortment of yummy guys for Ms. Harris to pick from. For those of you who might have been living under a rock last fall - or simply didn't watch The Bachelor - Jillian was thought to be a shoe-in for Jason and a nation of supporters was sorely disappointed when she got the boot as it came down to the final 3. That's okay though! Smile on Jillian because now you have 25 gorgeous men to choose from for yourself. Wait, what's this? There was such an overwhelming response to be Mr. Harris that we're upping the man pool by another 5 gorgeous men?! Well a gal could just faint from that kind of excitement and it looked like Jilly just might have (can't say I'd blame her). So after spending the first 1.5 hours of getting-to-know-you-time with the first 25 men, Jillian now had to squeeze in another 5 and make her decision. She still had to get rid of some but now she got to keep 20 - lucky girl!

From what I could tell she had a tough decision to make as all of the men were mostly hot, funny, charming, intelligent and again HOT. There were a few that struck me as jerk material. Namely Mr. Fitness Model who was just too hot on himself (any guy that chews his gum that way is usually bad news...at least in my book). Seemed that Jillian stuck mainly with the blue-collared types with big hearts. There's the country music singer who I wouldn't turn down on a bad day! The truck driver, the contractor and pilot....a girl could go on!!

I'd say with this pool of applicants this season of Bachelorette promises to be pretty interesting....and if I didn't already think so then the season preview at the end certainly convinced me of that. It's only Episode 1 and from the previews already we know that some of the guys might have girlfriends, one is supposedly on there to become the next Bachelor, the singer is there to make his debut and get attention (say it ain’t so!) and much more drama.

I don't know about you but I can't wait to watch it all! I was always on Team Jillian (despite her annoying accent - hey, I'm a Bostonian so I can say that. I know a thing about annoying accents.). And I just want her to find love and live happily (she'd be what...the 3rd person to TRULY find love from this crazy show?) So bravo for Episode 1 of The Bachelorette with Ms. Harris. Can't wait for next Monday!
