Well, most of you know from previous posts of mine that I love making hairbows for my daughter. I have been working, the past few months, on some new bows for spring and summer. My bows used to be mostly smaller ones, but lately I have been using some wider ribbon and making them bigger as my daughter is a bit older.
I thought I would share some of my new creations with all of you!
A few I havn't completly finished, they still need to be added to a clip, in the first pic you can see the thread is still hanging from the bow, because I havn't finished sewing it all together yet.
Here are the ones i have made so far :

this one I made to match a dress Maddie has:

This is an Easter one:

I will be making more soon too, as when MIL came to visit she bought me a TON of new ribbon. Right now I am in the middle of another project though. My sister just had a baby Saturday (3weeks early) and her baby shower is this coming Sunday. I made her a taggie blanket, and now I am working on a diaper cake! I will post those when I am finished with them both.

I havn't really tried to sell any onEtsy because the site already has sooo many people selling bows and such, and it seems people on there are more willing to buy from someone who has a lot of feedback, rather than someone with none. I havn't tried on Ebay because I am not sure if I would be able to make enough to make it worth having an Ebay store. I did do a small craft fair at the end of the year last year, and did sell a few bows and stuff, but it was a really small turnout at the thing and very few vendors. I usually make several of each of my bows though when I make them, just so that I have some to sell. Otherwise I have sold some things to people I know and that is about it. One time when Maddie was wearing a bandana I made a lady stopped and asked me about it, and ended up buying one from me, I happened to have several with me that I had made. When I am working on a project I usually have all my supplies with me or in my vehicle when I am out somewhere.
J~ the green one is my fave too of the group! I want to go back and get more ribbon in other colors just like that and the purple one to make, because I love the contrast of the ribbon and colors to polka dots!
Marianne~ Def, just let me know when you want some more, and I can go look for those bands at cvs, I would be more than happy to make some more bows for Abbey!
