It's Survivor Finale time and either Erinn, JT, Stephen or Taj will take home the one million dollar prize. Coach went last time, finally, so it seems the JT/Stephen alliance isn't as tight as once thought. All four returned to camp excited to be in the final four with old Jalapao three being most confident. JT was worried about Stephen getting jury votes thanks to the Coach vote, while Stephen felt it was beneficial for JT as he'll now get Coach's vote. Odds are good for Stephen and JT to be in the finals, but he may soon realize that JT cannot be beaten. The next morning Taj and Stephen talked alone and Taj discussed that JT was the biggest threat but both said they couldn't vote him out. Erinn talked about being the last Timberia member and knew she would have to fight to stay. Her one hope was immunity and winning that guaranteed a Timberia member in the final three.
The immunity challenge was in the shape of a large spider with its legs as tunnels to different sacks of puzzle pieces. They would have to go through each tunnel for the pieces and then put together a web shaped puzzle to win the immunity. JT was through first followed by Taj and Stephen, Erinn was lagging which made things look rather disappointing for her. JT was on his second bag while some barely got back with their first, proving he's a strong competitor but Taj slowed him down by going the opposite direction in the one tunnel. JT was still able to get all puzzle pieces first while Stephen was behind by a few minutes. Jeff kept saying it was a hard puzzle, which gave everyone a shot so it was a close showdown once all four were through and working on it. Erinn worked quickly on her puzzle while JT was close to finishing. She's been good with puzzles the entire season and with JT screwing up towards the end it was a close battle. JT won with Erinn having a few pieces left, meaning she's probably going home while JT continues to dominate the immunities.

Back at camp Taj discussed sending Erinn out and knew that Erinn would try and stay. Erinn still tried to stay though and talked with the two guys in the lake alone. Her move was to show that Taj played a great game and is one of the most like able people there. Alone they discussed which lady would be good to take but neither really stated who it would be. Stephen is scared about betraying Taj and looking bad in the jury but still felt that Taj in the final immunity could be scary but it still seems like Erinn will be the one to go. At tribal council the final four entered with the jury now being larger them. Jeff brought up the switch up with Jalapao in the majority first and Stephen said their plan was to select a few Timberia members and just play it from there. Erinn then talked about being the last Timberia and is shocked to still be there. Jeff basically told her that she's probably going and she agreed, meaning she knows. Jeff then called out Stephen as he skirted around the issue of voting out Taj or Erinn. In a shocking turn of events, Taj got votes from both Stephen and JT, sending out their final three member from Jalapao and giving Erinn a shocking, VERY shocking chance of winning the game. I sure didn't see that one coming!
With Taj out of the game it was down to Stephen, Erinn and JT with Erinn acting surprised and JT being very annoyed by her talking. Their reasoning was that they felt they could beat Erinn in the final challenge, considering it could be a puzzle they could be wrong. Early the next morning it was time for the final three ceremony where they traveled through fallen comrades. Before leaving, Stephen and Erinn talked and Erinn said that she would take him to the finals if she wins. Stephen's best bet right now is to lose the immunity challenge, considering both would take them. Erinn had something up her sleeve though as she told both that the other would win in the end.. trying to pit them against each other. Stephen seemed to buy it as he thought about taking Erinn to the finals, since he'd have a better shot at winning. JT was pretty much stuck on taking Stephen though, which is probably smart considering Taj and Coach would vote for him now.
It was then time for the fallen comrades where at the end the final three would compete in their last immunity challenge. Thank God for the final two returning! Each person voted off gave a few statements about their experience and it was nice to see the people who were voted off early, especially crazy Sandy! Once that was done it was time for the final immunity which required concentration and coordination. They had to place a ball in a shoot then run down and catch the ball. If a ball hits the ground they are out of the challenge. They would only have one hand to work with and multiple balls would be added each round. All did well with one and two balls, so it was time for a third. Erinn's ball dropped first, giving either Stephen or JT the final immunity and the sole vote at the Tribal Council. They then added a fourth which made things very confusing and fast. Stephen dropped one of his balls in the meantime, giving JT yet another immunity win and a spot in the final two. Meaning its official, as long as nothing crazy happens JT and Stephen will be in the finals.
The final three then returned to camp and Stephen was relieved as he didn't want to make the decision of who went home. It was now all in JT's hands, as it has been the entire season, but Erinn still worked for JT's vote to stay. She claims that she wouldn't get any votes from Timberia but may get Taj's vote if she was angry about being voted out. She then mentioned Stephen saying that he would take her to the end, selling him out in hopes that JT would be angry about being lied to. Erinn continued giving JT reasons for keeping her in the end as Stephen going to the final two would be harder to beat, speech wise. It now seems uncertain who JT would take. I would assume that it Stephen, simply because of the entire edit this season but now its not sure. Stephen was worried as well and it's going to be a nail bitter of a final vote!
Tribal Council began with Erinn telling everyone why JT should take her and flat out told them that she pitched a reason for staying. Stephen then went out and revealed that his alliance with JT stemmed from day two and their brain was basically fuesed throughout the time. JT's decision was then down to loyalty versus a supposed easy win. While JT talked Stephen butted in and said that his friendship would not be the same, with JT, if he takes Erinn to the end. He said that his swears on very important things would prove that JT wouldn't be that good a friend after the game, but I still feel that JT will take Stephen simply because of the edit. But I guess last TC proved editing can prove different, so who knows. JT's vote is the sole one cast so it all comes down to him. JT's vote was for Erinn, sending Stephen to the finals and proving that JT can stick to his words. Who didn't see this one coming?
The morning of day 39 was great for the two friends who fought hard to get to the final two. They got their breakfast that they wanted, feasting yet again. I mean which round did these two guys not go on a feast reward? They spent their last day relaxing and discussing first impressions, bringing back the initial theme. They didn't really like each other from looks alone but the city and farmer guys turned into fast friends. It was then time for their final Tribal Council where they would plead for their votes and end the game until tonight's live reveal. The power now shifted to the jury where Stephen began his opening statement first. He told the seven that they shared a brain when it came to strategy and wanted them to focus on what they gained from the experience. Stephen says that he has transformed more then JT since he came in without any outdoors knowledge. It then turned to JT where he discussed being the provider of the game and basically said that Stephen wasn't as great of player as him. Bold statement there.
It was then time for the jury to finally talk again, outside Ponderosa, and Brendan was up first. He targeted Stephen for making the idea of growth the deciding factor while JT said it was irrelevant, meaning he's throwing Stephen under the bus and that Stephen sucked at the challenges. Stephen then talked back about being under the shadows as a strategy, proving the two friends may not be friends after tonight. Erinn's question was next and it focused on Stephen's multiple alliances while JT's question focused on taking Stephen to the end, yet still wanting the strongest there. Debbie was close to both and was up next and claimed to be undecided. She wasn't happy with JT's dishonesty to her, he responded by quoting his mother so she returned Stephen and asked about who would be in the finals if Stephen won the immunity. He says that he doesn't know and she's not happy with that, so he flat out says it would have been Erinn.
Coach was next and it was sure to be good. He quoted some crazy line again and then wanted JT to mention some times of honesty. JT claims his vote for Erinn at his vote off was the most honest while also taking Stephen was probably the most honest move he took. Coach then moved to Stephen and he claims he voted for everyone sitting there and didn't take the easy way out. Sierra's question was next and only talked to JT, asking him why he took Stephen to the end when he was the weakest player. He claimed that Stephen was a strong player, but Sierra didn't seem to buy it. Next up was Tyson who wanted to talk about sharing a brain. He wanted to know how Stephen was an asset to JT, he said it was important but he still could have been in the end. Stephen returned by saying it wasn't true, simple as that. Taj was the last to go and she was very upset. She loved her Jalapao guys and wanted to know why JT found it so easy to vote her out. He said it wasn't hard so she turned to Stephen and wondered why she was blindsided and he blamed JT for being the reason. He said that JT decided that she should go, throwing JT under the bus and forcing JT to return saying that wasn't true, and forcing the two to quarrel and share their laundry. Once Taj sat down they continued to talk and fight as Stephen wasn't happy that he was being criticized for going against JT, when he did it to him all night. JT simply said he should have taken Erinn, proving the two will have some choice words at the reunion I'm sure.
Now that the questions, and fighting, was over it was time for the jury to cast their votes for the winner and time for either JT or Stephen to take home the million dollars. Once all seven voted Jeff and the gang were off to the US for the live portion of the finale. It's also amusing to see the cast look so much different half a year later but it was fast to get down to the votes. First vote went to JT, followed by another JT vote or the Warrior. Third came a vote for JT and he only needed one more which he got, making JT the winner of Survivor Tocantins! He is the second player to get all the votes in the final tribal council, making JT a millionaire and the winner of Survivor Tocantins: The Brazilian Highlands. Make sure to return back to Reality Rehash come the Fall for the next season of Survivor, which will be revealed tonight at the live reunion!
