Dear Gather Recipients,
My purpose in joining Gather is to be able to share knowledge I have acquired in my lifetime. As a man of 73 years of age, one who has through much reading, good fortune in meeting people that influenced my life, and a love for people around the world, I am compelled to share some valuable insights and findings that deal with a very sensitive topic, God.
Two weeks ago, May 1, 2009, I sent a letter to 123 religious leaders of the Judaic, Christian, and Islamic faiths with a request that they join a Council for Religious Unity. The objectives of the Council are: (1) Acknowledge that they all pray to the same God (2) Honor the words of Jesus Christ who said that, "Amen was the beginning of the creation of God" Revelation 3:14 (3) Fulfill the mandate of their profession; to teach the Word of God - to love one another.
The letters were sent along with a book that provides: (1) evidence that all three major religious have been influenced by the Egyptian God Amen, and (2) presents recommendations on how the religious leaders and worshippers can work together for changes our civilization sorely needs.
