A couple of days ago, I took my group to the Ernest Tubb Record Shop near Music Valley Row in Nashville. Inside they had some neat items for me to photograph.

Here is a statue of Ernest Tubb inside the record shop.

Ernest Tubb's tour bus, visitors are allowed to go inside.

Above & below pictures are from inside the tour bus. It was very small & cramped. I would not like being in such a small space!

A thank you sign below the check-out counter~
I enjoyed seeing his cool looking bus, and that statue was neat as well. I wasn't expecting to see that stuff inside the store!
Have you ever been to the Ernest Tubb Record Shop? Have you ever been to Nashville?

Cool I will definitely have to stop there.
I've driven through Nashville but have never had the time to stop.
Very neat things in that shop! Great photo essay!
That looks like fun. I've never been to Nashville. I've been to Memphis and want to go back there and do more exploring.
that looked like fun Priscilla, I have driven through Nashville on my way to 'bama but never stopped yet....maybe one day
Loved that bus, neat eassay and really great pics too, Priscilla.
bummer. I can't see any of the photos. I wonder if it's just me...
I think I'd like to see Nashville one day.
I have to ask - what do you do that you get to travel like this? Which group?
Rose, the company I work for, we take adults with developmental disabilities on guided vacations. We go all over the US & even some international trips as well.
We always need volunteers from any state, so let me know if you are interested in volunteering & I could give you the website address.
I am potentially interested, depending on the information. Just send me an e-mail or leave the website information here.
Rose, I'm sending you an email - I don't want to post where I work on gather.
Interesting. Looks like a neat place. I've never been there before.
Cool photo essay Priscilla!
look like a fun place to visit
Never heard of him.
I've never been there.
That's the sort of thing my parents would like, though. That is, if they ever went farther than the neighboring counties...
Oh how neat.
I haven't been there. I love seeing your photo essays. So many places I haven't been. Cool perk from your job. ;-)
Nashville's a great town and this is one of the best stops. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip!
I would have really enjoyed seeing all that. Back in the 60,s I lived only about 5 blocks from the Nightclub, he was almost a regular. I had friends crawling out of the woodworks , wanting to come and stay with me to go to his concerts. Where are they now. LOL
That was in Northwest Houston. The club is not there anymore. A lot of years have passed, plus neighborhood associations. Cant have this or that, here or there. That was back when families went and no problems were presented. Just listening to great music.
Nice photos and essay!
