I'm the featured author at the Isn't It Romantic? blog, http://romancebooks.splinder.com/ , on May 18th (Monday), 2009. Please stop by and read about my novel Beltane and about writing romance. Isn't It Romantic? is written in both Italian and English, with everything translated both ways. Leave a comment or ask me a question and see your words translated into Italian. It'll be fun, so if you're a romance reader I certainly hope you'll join me. If you can't make it on the 18th, stop by and check it out anyway.
Congratulations to Kimber L., who won a free signed copy of Beltane on my last guest-blogging adventure. I can't remember if I'm supposed to be giving away another book on the 18th or not, but stop by and we'll see.

You can read another review of Beltane, this one from a woman in Finland, at http://books-forlife.blogspot.com/2009/06/beltane-by-erin-oriordan.html#comments
Because I did not speak Italian I did not understand my Mother Evelyn Bianchi when she reacted to certain...infractions of Family and Societal morays, rules and human frailties. But hey, how was I to know Mom didn't want snakes in her house??
And she waits until my Boa Constrictor gets stuck in our pool table to TELL me!!!
IN ITALIAN, which again, I failed to understand...but the broom swatting my head, THAT Universal language, I GOT!!!!
I came here looking to read your work Erin. Got a short story to frazzle my gzorpes??
Lay it on me and make me FEEL IT!!!!
I mean...PLEASE!!!!
Oh, and if you want to meet my Mom without going to Mom Heaven, you might like to read my 'Mom looks down from Mom Heaven...".
It is a true description of Mom's last hours, it is astonishing, not because I wrote it, because of the Miracle that Mom was granted.
The Miracle that all who witnessed were granted.
I don't believe in God as many folks do, but I now believe in Miracles.
PEACE! I am, and I know I shall remain, Yours with the Highest Regards!
