My Baby Girl just left for her first date

I am getting old! My daughter had her first date tonight. She was suppose to go to the prom, but the school wouldn't let her go because she is only in 9th grade, in which they didn't inform anyone until last Thursday that she couldn't go. We bought a dress and everything, and her boyfriend went out and rented a tux too, so her and her boyfriend decided to get dressed up anyway and go out for dinner. They both looked very nice. I have to laugh because they are going bowling dressed up too! Lol. Can you imagine trying to bowl with a prom dress on? Lol.

I thought I would share a few pics of them all dressed up.

My baby isn't a baby no more.

What a pretty girl! We were at the bowling alley a few weeks ago and some kids from the prom came in to bowl. They were all dressed up, too.

Awww! bittersweet, I'm sure! She looks beautiful but what a bummer she wasn't allowed to go to prom.
it's a shame they didn't get to go to Prom...
I remember my girlfriend trying to bowl in her gown the first year, the 2nd year she brought a change of clothes..
hahaha.........
