am i in an atom
and aloft?
an age, an era, an ever-unfolding flower, a flow, an eald, a foehn:
when wind wafts her scent to me, i breathe colour of crown and passion--
of crush and palace--
of king and queen and precious pleasantry.
i have never seen you(r like),
i have never scenes,
i have (n)Ever and Always in

would that we floated forever, eh?
I think I'm going to have a word-gasm. I had to Google three words and still have no meaning for eald-- do you use words from Old English by any chance?
yes.
and i sometimes freak out--i end up Googling my own stuff, and wonder how i knew.
sit, shaken.
but smiling.
This is one of the most exquiste pieces of wordplay I've seen in a long time. I've never before felt the sense that the narrator of a poem is vaporized yet somehow still present. I hope you'll send this one to The Surreal Circus.
Tomas, you have been writing some really beautiful poetry lately, and this is no exception. Somehow this piece seems to ring so very true with how I have been feeling lately. Deep purple red flowers that never fade, WOW!
its fragrance, unforgotten.
I love the rhyming scheme! So fresh, so new, so you!
Thanks so very much for posting to my group, Anythingwriting By the way, I have a new story up. It's based on a prompt for Thursday's Writing Essentials, Aletterbetweenfriends , would you by chance come by to read it soon? Thanks.
it's time to catch up.
Thank you for posting this to The Surreal Circus. You are now featured.
Lovely.
thx for stopping in.
Your very welcome Thomas.
wonderful
Foehn threw me, because of all the wind names I know, it's the least poetic or romantic--it has a connotation of "obnoxiously maddening" for me.
Very intriguing poem.
strangely enough...that's probably why i forced myself to use it.
Cool!
If you manage to "throw" Aniko (the icon-less) with your wordplay, it must be exotic indeed!
i imagine--she's sharp as a Cuisinart/Ginsu CUB, that one.
