Don’t worry. This isn’t me.
It's just a musing on M for the Zoomit challenge.
My heart was yours but you tore it apart
And didn’t know how to mend it.
My life was yours but however you tried
You didn’t know where to send it.
My love was yours but doves fell prey
To hawks and dreams were ended.
My path was yours but yours was wrath;
I should have been attentive.
My soul was yours, your love my goal
But then you went and spent it.
My dream was yours but yours it seems
Was heavier and bent it
My time was yours but you my love
Were never mine
And truly never meant it.
