One of my cats is continually "going" on the carpet in the downstairs area of my bi-level townhouse. I was hoping placing a litterbox down stairs would help (I am thinking she doesn't feel well enough to make it up stairs every time. I was thinking about getting a Tidy Cat Breeze litterbox and wondered if anyone out there had used one and whether or not they liked it for their cats. I have an automatic litterbox up stairs (a littermaid) but can't afford another one right now and I have tried the scoop free and that didn't go over well either. Any advice on this matter would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Any updates... is she doing any better?
My cat is 21 and luckily have had no problems. I hope you get yours straight soon. :)
Thanks.
some cats like certain textures. And it seams you cat likes carpet. I had one like that that finally had to become and out door kitty. When they like carpet its a hard habit to break. You should try a different litter maybe one with just clay and no scent or chemicals maybe she is protesting to that.
when it comes to litter boxes you must have one per cat plus one extra in the house. so 2 cats=3 litter boxes etc. some cats dont like using the other cats box.
and you should always have one on each floor of a house there are some days they just cant make it up the stairs in time.
