Here is a photo looking up at the ceiling of the San Francisco Ferry Market Building

I used the Picasa program's features to tweak the picture into an artistic interpretation.
What do you think?

Rain soaked housewives
I wonder why the arched windows are dark....
Dear Bart,
I am not sure but my guess is that there is an overhang on the ferry side of the building that blocks the light. The businesses still seem to be thriving there peopled each day by the ferry passengers commuting from Marin.

I think I would need another program like photoshop to do what you are suggesting.

I'm the girl who rarely wears make-up and hardly ever thinks to embellish the dish I'm serving for supper--too often I plop it on the table in the kettle in which it was cooked!
So you know I like the original. And yet, as an artistic statement, the second photo makes one.
Nice, mon amie.
it looks like SoulView.
