There is such freedom in the above. I've never been "allowed" to live my dreams before and be accepted for who I truly am. There is such a release in it.

Oh I absolutely love it, Lisa. I'm gonna leave it at that because my real answer turned into my lifestory - so just know, if you are looking, there are men like that out there.
This is not as much a dream as one might think it is.

Very nice poem. I don't think I would want anyone who "would let me" do anything....you are a person too. Do what you want, you're intellegent, wise and talented and I don't think you'd do anything that wasn't right or good. Don't "let" anyone "let" you do something, unless you are a small child in training for adulthood.

Ok, Missy, you know me. I gave Lee a break because they don't know me. I meant as opposed to somebody who is constantly tries to control me. Who wants me to think as they do...ect...
I do not look at somebody encouraging me to do what I feel as right as any type of control, but they are letting me be me, no control involved. BIG DIFFERENCE

When you least expect it Lisa. I disagree with Lee on this one (no offense Lee). I think its best to know you are free to do what you want, because the trust is there that you will not do something harmful (how do I put this?) to the other or the relationship. Its like my GF, she seems to track her Hubby 24/7. She was shocked I don't do that. I told her he is an adult and I know he would not ever do anything purposely to upset me. G-D gives us freewill be choose and hopefully we make the right choices. I hope I am making sense. I think its about time for a time-out.

Nicely expressed, Lisa. I think someone said up there that men are not the answer to your dreams, and while that would be true for that person, for others, and for me, to each his/her own. That is what freedom is about.

This is your way, and may it be as pleasant as my way is for me.

((( I remember being very lonely after moving to Georgia. I do have family here in Ga--But~ living by myself in my house...just me and my cats...it just was empty...Well, one day, I was driving home from work...talking from my heart to God. I remember...crying my heart out asking him to find me a good man...a man that would be the right one...not a man I would want to find. My Mom kept saying--you'll be surprised. God just might send you a man that lives close by. God surely did. We have been seeing each other 1 1/2 years now...All, because I asked God...like a big cry baby. He probably threw His hands up in the air and said: Ok...who lives near her who is asking the same thing...))) I love your poem by thw way!
