1. CIA lied
2. I knew/suspected that they lied and did nothing.
3. I was more concerned with getting elected than doing something about these lies.
4. I was more concerned about getting a new president than doing something about it.
5. A staffer told me about a top secret briefing going on but did not tell me what it was about but somehow I knew what it was about.
Hmmm well you may not have been able to do anything directly but you could have protested and it would have been part of the official records.

Frank said just weeks before Fannie and Freddie imploded that they were "fiine" Waters blasted people who raised alarms about Freddie and Fanny and many other democrats also cried foul when problems presented. One idiot said that it was the people raising the alarm that were the problem not Freddie and Fanny. But what the hell. Frank and the democrats are clean as the new driven snow.
99.9 % of the politicians are crap. And Princess Pelosi is the queen of the heap.
Frank wasn't even the chairman of the committee until 2007, at which time we were already deep into the crisis. But don't let me confound you with facts.

I'm not really a Frank fan. He's sort of irrelevant to this discussion. But the Fat Heads are pointing fingers at Pelosi (now), despite the fact that she was a mere committee member at the time.
John (fake tan) Boehner (Fat Head, Ohio), was talking about working with the CIA on the intelligence committee for 3.5 years yesterday, despite the fact that he wasn't even on the committee until 2007. Now who is lying, Boehner or the CIA?
I'm not saying that Pelosi is telling the truth here, because I don't know that she is. Do I have implicit trust that the CIA is not playing CYA? You've got to be kidding.
What is easy to discern, however, is that this is just the latest red herring in the fan by the Fat Heads.
Personally I think Frank is guilty of far worse and (if you make a quick trip to youtube) far more blatant errors. Still neither the MSM nor his party hung him out like they've done to Pelosi. I cannot believe this is by accident . . . O Duce has something to gain through all of this.
