I was pleasantly surprised by the finale. It was great. I really hope Sun and Jin are reunited and I don't think Juliet is really dead. Is it wrong that I was hoping that Sawyer would whip Jack's booty? Jack got too many good hits in. :(

Yes - still mulling over the implications. I think I will go to ABC.com and watch it online again, just to pick up the little things I missed the first time.

I was glad to see Bernard, Rose and Vincent. It was a surprise that the infamous "Jacob's Cabin" was built by Rose and Bernard!

The 4-toed statue is Sobek - an Egyptian fertility god. (Destruction of the stature = fertility problems?)

LOST is known for explosive endings, but that was really an explosive ending! It's going to be a long wait to see what the explosion did.

I don't follow this one but I do want to get it from Netflix and watch it.

Well first Locke is deaed yet alive because he really isn't Locke!!! Remember the beginning when the Egyptian statue was intact and Jacob was sitting on the beach with another man and talking about the ship in the ocean? Well, that was a long, long time ago and that man said that he still wanted to kill Jacob and he will find a loop hole one day. Well, when "Locke" came with "the old leader" (I have a blank on his name right now) to go see Jacob, he spoke to him and told him that HE will have to kill Jacob... when they found Jacob, Jacob says "I guess you finally find your loophole" - Locke was never trying to kill Jacob and finding a loophole but that man frolm long ago was and they spoke to each other like they knew each other for a long time.

Ada: Cool, thanks for sharing the meaning with us! I didn't get that Rose and Bernard built Jacob's cabin - that cabin was there 30 years past and they were living in a hut in the jungle by the beach not in the cabin. Also, very interesting information about what that statue represented!

But, now that everything went kapluey, I wonder if everything we just watched even means anything anymore and that not just Juleit but everyone is still alive including Jacob. What I find interesting is all the clips of Jacob being there with all the "members" off the island and then convincing Hugo to go back to the island makes me think he knew that he would be murdered and them all coming back would be able to send time back to the way it was and the man we don't know his name from long ago could not take Lockes' body to do his bidding. I love how the writers waited to the very last moment to show Locke's still dead body - what mystery!

Another question: What IS Jacob and the other man that was with him on the beach?

Do locke and them go back too? I thought it was AMAZING!
