Busy Couple of Days

Well, something told me this morning to read Craigslist, and I'm glad I did. It's apparently the community wide yard sales this weekend here in town. I had no idea! Anyway, I'm heading to the laundry mat today with the clothing we're going to put out, and then tonight and tomorrow, we'll be busy finding all sorts of stuff, and making up signs. Saturday, we'll have the sale bright and early.

I'm glad we found out, though, because I think we'll have more traffic during a community wide sale, as opposed to the weekend after it, ya know?

I'm hoping we can make $100-150. In the past, I've easily done that, but I'm no where near as prepared this time, nor do I have as much "stuff" for it this time around.

We have the Frankenmuth-wide sales today and tomorrow. 120+ sales on the official map, plus plenty of others that don't spend the $5 to advertise. I am working all day, both days. So jealous!

Yeah, I don't think we'll have all -that- much to put out there. lots of cloths, a few bigger things like the tv and tv stand, but overall I suspect it'll be a fairly 'small' garage sale for us this year

I bet you'll do great! I wish our community would have yard sales but the last time a neighbor tried to organize one we were the only ones that participated. We made close to $100 with hardly any traffic (and our signs blew down because of high winds) so it was actually a good two days. But it turned me off of having yard sales.

I've been pricing things for our neighborhood sale coming up June 6...unfortunately about all I have to sell is clothes.
