I Need A New Job!!!

After all my excitement for how things were going to be at work, my boss quickly poured cold water all over things this morning.  He accused me of trying to scare off the new attorneys because I told him the truth about the files and what all needed to be done.  He asked me why we had so many open files and I said that my co-worker hasn't been working for the past year really.  He said, "thanks for telling me."

Why should I have told him anything when he let her do whatever she wanted.  She would take off and not show up for a day or two or even five days last year and not even tell him about it and when she came back, they never said anything to her about it.  She was allowed to do whatever she wanted to do and he wouldn't reprimand her or fire her.  And, I was caught in the middle trying to get along with everyone.

All the drivers and owners knew that I was the one over here all the time and they'd ask where Lana is and I'd say I don't know and they never did anything about it.  I was stuck doing all the work and getting paid a third of what she was making and now they want to blame it all on me.

My boss said he wanted me to keep a list of everything I was doing so I'm keeping a timed list of everything.  It's almost 3 pages at this point.

After he left, then my former co-worker showed up to pick up some stuff and acted as if she was still in charge and told me to check voice mail, etc.  I went to tell my boss she was here and he acted as if it were no big deal.

I've never heard of someone coming back to a place they were fired from and sit down at a company computer and start making personal calls and no one says or does anything.  Is this strange or am I losing it?

Then she got mad at me because I was told not to tell her who they'd hired and she accused me of being a liar and called me ugly names.  I just don't get this whole thing.  It's just too weird.

Please pray for a new job for me.  I need to get away from these people.
