Kris Allen's "Heartless". Better than Kanye...

Kris Allen impressed American Idol judges with his version of Kanye West's "Heartless". Judge Randy Jackson went so far to say that Kris Allen performed it better than Kanye and The Fray (who did a remake of the song). Whoa, slow down, cowboy. I wouldn't say it's better than the original, though it was pretty good. Sounds like someone's just trying to hype up Kris Allen so that he wins American Idol, eh?

I am listening to it and watching it right now to see what I think. I haven't been in to AI this season ... I guess the whole American Idol thing has been wearing on me.

I personally LOVE Kanye's version. Kris' version is good ... but I don't think it's better than the originals. I think they're so impressed because these guys have really gone above and beyond many, many other contestants in previous shows. They have made things their own like no one else has ever done.

... and I just don't care who wins, ha. I have just been keeping up with who gets kicked off and then watching performances when linked to them. I used to be such a huge AI fan too, I don't know what happened to me!

I LOVE Kris Allen's version. It wins for me! But then I listened to The Fray's version and I really like it too. It's definitely second. Personally I hate Kanye's version. I never liked the song and the video was terrible, but now The Fray and Kris Allen have shone some new light upon the song.

I was nervous when he announced his song choice to Ryan last night, but after his performance I was pleasantly surprised and stunned. It was amazing! I loved this take on the song. Kris really stepped it up with his song choice!
