Luigi's Italian Restaurant is located at 207 South Sheridan Rd. in Lawton OK. We ate lunch there last Saturday and it was so good. The restaurant was once a store front business so the owners did some creative camo to cover the big windows. The dark burgundy colored curtains across those big front windows gave it a cozy look. Booths and tables were covered in bold checks of burgundy and white and seating was a lighter burgundy fabric. The decor was Italian throughout, but enough about that.
The food was excellent and not overly expensive. Lunches ran around $6-$8. Believe me you got your moneys worth. I ordered the 6.50 pasta sampler, consisting of lasagna, mannicotti and cannelloni. With this came an enorous salad and unending fresh baked bread. I brought half my meal back home because here was so much. The bread was made in an unusual fashion. It looked like each piece had been individually rolled to a thick breadstick and then coiled. It had been brushed while hot with garlic butter and sprinkled with a little finely chopped basil.
I would gladly go there to eat again as the service was as good as the food and there was plenty of parking. It is so much fun to experience a new eatery.

Glad you had such a great experience. Now I want some manicotti. Guess I'll make some soon.
