 The original picture taken from Sony Digital camera.

 Worked in textures and layers in Photoshop

 Digitally painted using smudge tool and canvas effects.

Wonderful job on these. I am trying to learn how to do this and I can't figure it out for the life of me. I know someone had posted how to do layering on here once and I bookmarked it. But, that is one of the things my husband lost when he cleaned up the computer. So to me this is very hard to do and I commend you on a great job.

Hi Carol,

You will find many video tutorials in youtube.Not a difficult thing...Just add the texture you want to give to your photo and play with the drop down cursor...overlay,vivid,burn,hard,saturation and others...use eraser to wipe the unwanted texture overlaping your photo.

LOL Buzzy that is easy for you to say. I think what my biggest problem is that I am using elements and someone told me that you have to trick it into layering. I don't know much about the programs so maybe because it is not photoshop is the reason I am having so much trouble. But thanks for the info I appreciate it.

I am green eyed over the photoshop,lol... The second was most intesting, BB.... Mad ethe guy look like a night-vamp coming in from the beach, and the bird surreal/otherworldly... :)
