More Grocery Shopping 5/12/09

coupons.com has LOADS of great coupons to print out right now!!  A lot of them matched current sales ending today at my Dillon's (Kroger)  I wanted to get this posted right away in case any of the rest of you wanted to take advantage of the deals.  Please note that ALL coupons I used today I printed from coupons.com last night.

Today I got:

2 loaves of the value bread for .78 (not on sale, but we needed bread)

Kraft BBQ sauce, not on sale but only $1.08 (it was $1.56 when I shopped Friday so I was thrilled to see a price drop today) I used 2-$1 coupons so only .08 each!

4- packages of Kraft Shredded cheese on sale for $1.77 each.  I used 2-$1/2 coupons making them just $1.27 a package.

4 packages Oscar Mayer hot dogs on sale for $1 each.  I used 2-$1/2 coupons making them just .50 a package

2 packages Kraft Cheese slices on sale for $1.77  I used $1/2 coupon making them just $1.27 per package.

3 packages of Crystal Light drink mix pouches.  Each on sale for $2.49.  I used 1 $1 coupon making 1 package $1.49.  The other coupon was buy the Skin Essentials kind get another kind free so that made both just $2.49.  (I am signed up to do the water challenge here on gather so thought I would buy additional to go with what they are sending me to keep up the habit of more water)

4-Kraft Easy macs on sale for $1 each.  I used 2-$1/2 coupons making them .50 each.

2-Oscar Mayer lunch meats on sale for $3 each. I used 41/2 coupon making them $2.50 each.

2-bags of salad marked down for quick sale of just .89 each bag.

Total paid: $25.05.   Total savings with coupons and sales was 58%, so the best I've been able to do so far.  I'm excited and would like to be able to shop like this all the time.

I also used 6 more of the free Kitten Chow coupons that I bought on ebay (bought 20 for $5.75) and paid just .84 for the sales tax.  Savings of $11.94 and a total of $21.89 so far for my $5.75)
