I always put hairspray on ink stains and then let it sit for a little while before I put it in the washer. I would try it again.

You could try the hairspray again. I don't think it will hurt. I would let it soak a while with the hairspray before washing.

I used alcohol personally to remove tattoo ink from clothes and counters. dont know about other types of ink though

Have you tried a product called Zout? I buy it at Wal-Mart and it is under $3.00 a bottle. I have not tried it on ink but it works very well on coffee stains, grass, and blood stains even ones that are set in. I rub it in to the stain and then saturate it again and put it in the washer. Sometimes you have to repeat it a couple times. I get it from the laundry aisle. Let me know.....

You can also use hydrogen peroxide to take out ink but be careful it can bleach out dark colors.

The alcohol would be rubbing alcohol like you get from the pharmacy.

do not dry the shirt first off! you may have to keep treating and then washing but it should come out. Hairspray usually works and Shout works great!! If all else fails try a little dish soap on it and let it sit then hand/spot wash and see what happens.

Zout works great or if you have a dollar tree I think even some other dollar store sell it a product called Awesome! I used it to take red ink out of khaki pants! Pn

As long as you haven't dried it, I would try hairspray again. Aside from that, the Spray N Wash dual action has worked better than any other stain remover for me, but I haven't tried it on ink
