This is one of the race tracks that our Son and Grandsons race on right here in Northwest PA. The race in GNCC and in AWRCS Series and they are in The Thunder Valley Racing Team. Todays AWRCS race was only about an hour from where we live. Can you imagine going at high speeds, sometimes over 60 mph on the open stretches and trying to fit between the trees in the wooded parts of the track? If you stand too close to the track, you can feel the suction from the bikes trying to draw you towards them! The tracks can be up to I believe 15 miles long and this particular one I was told was 9 miles long and they go laps for like 2 or 2 1/2 hours each race!

Zackery will be 16 November 8th

Tim is our son who was almost killed a few years ago in a car truck accident, when a man in a double cab Dodge pick went around a car in front of him and hit head on into our son coming the other way. The truck went up over the car Tim was driving, which was mine, as his was in the repair shop, and my car was demolished. When the drivers door was ripped off by the truck, Tim's left arm was crushed. He has three plates and many many pins hold that arm together after being rebuilt by a trauma team of 6. He was not suppose to have lived. The paramedics thought that he was dead on the scene until suddenly they noticed he was trying to get out of the car himself! Tim talk about a tall black man who stood beside him until the emt's got there and that this man knew his name somehow and kept telling him that it was going to be okay. The emt's said they saw nobody near Tim or the car! We truly believe that this man was an angel watching over our son and we are so very grateful that he was.
I used to be so scared at these races, but after that experience I have calmed down and enjoy it now. At least they are doing something that they all three love to do.
Tim's and his dad,my husband share their birthdays November 22, so as you see all four are in November! By the end of November I feel very poor! :)

Justin will be 13 November 15th
