Joan Crawford's hair: love it or hate it

In the 1937 movie The Bride Wore Red (in black and white), Joan had this hair look.  Love it or hate it.

 

She plays a cynical impoverished cabaret singer in Trieste, singing "Who needs love" (she just wants food).  A count meets her at the bar and decides to play a game to try and pass her off as an aristocrat at a super posh mountain resort.   The part was perfect for Joan and it NEEDS TO COME OUT ON DVD!!!

In this movie Joan is definitely a Gutter Girl.

And in the gutter !!!!

I like it, looks more natural than some of her other styles; they looked to me kind of unnatural- and I like her with thinner eye brows.
