More excitement at my house!

I went outside for a few mintues just to take a break.....

Just had to peak at my lettuce and see how it is doing...the first planting of peas and green beans is poking through the dirt now! YEAH! Not much to see yet, I will take pics when the plants get bigger.

Also, one of the tomato plants has a bloom and I spotted a teeny tiny green pepper!

My garden is a growing!!!!

Isn't it a great feeling to see the fruits of your labor? I just got started on planting the other day. Of course I hadn't started from seeds, as the weather here, has not allowed that. Getting a late start this year is a bummer, but what could I do? We have had to many cold snaps and now never ending rain. Today the sun is finally peeking out. I sure hope it sticks around. But I won't have much time for outdoor gardening and such as I have to help my partner with her daughters birday party. And tomorrow afternnon, a family get together for Mothers Day. Next week-end another Birthday. Sometime soon, I hope to get a chance to do some more planting and yard work.

We have green onions that look like they were planted in a swamp. The tomatoes are waiting for the rains to end before they can get out of the little containers they were planted in. We are waiting, waiting,waiting.
