I started a new group today: Exploring Michigan. For several months now, I've been posting videos and photos of different areas and points of interest here in Michigan, usually with a tag that includes exploring that city, or the state of Michigan itself.
Now, I have a home to place all of these wonderful places. Exploring Michigan is open to anyone, but the only posts allowed will be my own Exploration posts. It will feature points of interests here in Michigan, different cities- small and large, the country side, and more.
I hope you enjoy the group! The background and banner are customized using photo's I've taken over the past few years, featuring places as far north as Mackinac Island, and as far south as Lansing.
In the banner, I have a photo of the Mackinac Bridge, Grand Rapids Public Museum, the state Capitol building, a cemetary in Lansing, the dam's in Rockford, and pretty foliage in Sparta, Michigan.
In the background image, I have photos from the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Arch Rock on Mackinac Island, lovely Countryside outside of Rockford, the Mackinac Bridge, the dam's in Rockford, a barn in the zoo at Potter Park in Lansing, Snow on an evergreen in Lansing, the state Capitol building, and buildings in downtown Grand Rapids.
