Kindergarten teacher

Do you remember the name of your kindergarten teacher? My sister couldn't remember hers and to me that is odd. Mine was Mrs. Turner and I started kindergarten in 1988. How about you?

Pre-K- Mrs. Sockwell (had afternoon Pre-K)
Kindergarten - Mrs. Bryant
1st- Mrs. Allen
2nd.- Mrs. Kirkman
3rd- Mrs. Newkirk (and she went to my daddy's funeral that year)
4th - First Mrs. Martin, but then got transfered to Miss Baggett, because i was having troubles in the other class.
5th. Mrs. Robinson (one of my fave teachers)

and that's as far as i'm going because middle school and high school were a lot of teachers....

I don't remember my Kindergarten teacher. I started Kindergarten in 1966. I don't remember most of my teachers names actually.

I was in kindergarten in 1959. My teachers name was Mrs. Switzer. I'm sure of the spelling though.

Miss Lolly was mine I started in 1977 in 1988 I would have been in 11th grade. I dropped out but I do go back later and took home school and finished.

I sure can! Her name was Mrs. Brown and she was the most wonderful teacher I ever had. I happened to have her as my teacher again in first or second grade as well, and even when she wasn't my teacher she was always asking how I was doing etc. She really got me interested in "artsy" things and encouraged my drawing etc. for years to come.
Years later as an adult I went to an open house for my youngest brother in 6th grade and surprisingly saw her there. She remembered everything about me and I found it somewhat amazing, but it was so cool. I guess some people really make an impression on your life, and she did mine.

My family moved when I was in kindergarten so I have two teachers. I can't remember either one of their names.

I can still remember, I even remember my first day of school and going to the wrong class. Her name was Mrs. Long, she's still teaching too and I started school in 1991-1992

I started kindergarten in 88, too. :) My teach was Mrs. Cook. She was actually the same teacher that both my full sisters and my brother had, too.

I remember all of my teachers' names, or at least the ones from elementary school.

I couldn't remember my name at that age.lol. I Only went to 2 schools for the full year. The rest of my life we were moving around.

1969 Miss Powers. I have such great memories of her. She was actually my mother's kindergarten teacher too.

Wow, I am surprised how many respondents remember their kindergarten teacher's name.

I certainly do not remember mine. I'm not sure that I even knew it to begin with. That's not something we ever used in the classroom - that much I remember.
