What Great CVS Deals Did You Get This Week 5/3? Here's Mine. ~ CVS Extra Bucks Make Cents ~

 What CVS deals did you take advantage of this week?

Here's my trip.  I forgot to take pics so I took pics of the receipt.

3 Boxes Special K Cereal (sale 3/$10 get $5 ecbs) 

3 Life Fitness Energy Gum (clearanced @ .62)

1 Zantrex 3 Shot Energy Drink (get $4.99 ecbs)

1 Dozen Eggs

4 Packs Gum



Coupons used:  2--$1 on cereal, 1--free eggs wyb cereal, 4--free gum coupons from a Sunday insert

Extra Bucks used:  2.89, 3.00, 4.00 and 4.99 that she modified to be 4.96 which left my subtotal at $.00.  So I had to pay for tax.

TOTAL $.23 after coupons and extra bucks**

And I received the $5 extra bucks on the cereal and the $4.99 on the energy drink.







If you look at the bottom of your receipt you will see your savings for today and your year to date savings.



You can also see which extra buck deals you have done and if you have reached the limit.

I got deodorant, toothpaste and dishwashing liquid. I used 4EB, did two transactions so I paid a little under $9 and got 9EB back! Not bad for my second time!

Arrg, the closest CVS from Portland, Oregon, is Weaverville, California. I searched using the CVS circular finder for those that want to check for themselves.

Ms. Meacham, I would never have thought of buying food at a pharmacy, but we have gotten a lot of items for pennies, really helps keep food on the table.

Ms. Meacham, you might want to call or email CVS and ask--I think that the in store extra buck deals don't work online. You get the 2% quarterly and they send you emails with discounts and coupons, but I don't think like the Buy $10 Kelloggs and get $5 back works online. A real bummer you don't have a CVS nearby.

now, how can you tell if there is a cvs near you. I don't know if I have one near me. I mostly go to walgreens for that type of stuff.

Kimberli, On the homepage of my group, CVS Extra Bucks Make Cents (the link is in the post above) there is a link a little ways down on the right hand side for finding a store near you. I hope you find one. I like CVS better than Walgreens because you can use the Extra Bucks on other Extra Bucks items and I am not sure of the Walgreens policy, but thought I heard you can't use coupons as easily: Like one Manufacturer, one CVS and then the extra bucks on each item.

I really scored on the John Freida deal 3/$10, with $5 ECB. I had two $2 Q's and one $1 Q, so I actually got them free after ECB's!
