My Sister In Law Is Evacauated From Her Home In Santa Barbara

We have been on edge all week waiting to hear about the condition of the fires burning out of control in Santa Barbara Calf since Davies sister Barb and her husband live close to the Foot Hills. The phone rang last night at 10pm it was his other sister Janie saying that Barb and her husband just been evacuated. The police came through with loud speakers and said be out in ten minutes. So please Gather friends say a prayer for ALL those effected by these fires and protect the men and women fighting them.

Gather has members from Santa Barbara also prayers going up for them.

I will keep you posted on Barb as if and when I  learn anything new.

I'm really sorry to hear this. It's the biggest reason I don't miss S. California (where I grew up) at all. In fact, the first lady I ever went with still lives there (and is a Gather member) and was evacuated a couple of years ago when they had the major fires all over S. Cal.

We watched these fires on TV and got some of the smoke blwoing up here even though its over 100 miles away. I hope everything came out well for your family
