Hey my favorite Gatherererererererererererererererers!
I'm back for the countdown update! There are only 71 days left until hubby gets home from the clink! Actually, his countdown is a little different from mine. He says there are 68 days left because he will get 3 days of "good time" served for the beginning of July. But, I'm sticking with the old countdown until I see the official numbers from the prison! But, it's safe to say that it is now 71 days OR LESS. :)
I got the information from the apartment complex where we will be living. It's exciting to know that in about 3 weeks, I will be writing from our new home! Some things I have to get done in the next few days:
* get more moving boxes
* call USAA to get renter's insurance
* set up the electricity/gas turn on date for the new place
It sucks having to do all of this alone, but I KNOW that he is extremely grateful for all that I've been doing for us on the outside... Lately, his phone calls have become extremely mushy... Each day, he thanks me profusely for sticking by him through this bid... for being the type of woman who didn't let this get her down... for comforting him and making his time in there so much easier than it could have been had he been all alone. He told me today that he appreciates me more than he could ever express in words and that I will just have to wait until he gets home so that he can show me!
This year has been one of the most challenging of my life. I have been through some things that I would never wish on anyone else, but I don't regret any of it. I know that all of the setbacks and all of the pain have made me who I am today. They have given me an outlook and a character that is stronger and more confident than I ever was before!
So, as horrible as it is dealing with a loved one in prison, I have to say that there are definitely some positives that go along with it.
Today was my day off from work, and I mainly spent the day trying to cheer my sister up after her boyfriend left for Afghanistan. :) Our best friend, Jason, came over, and we made her laugh, cranked up the music, and told her to just dance it out! LOL! We also took some crazy pictures!
What did eve
ryone else do today? Was
it a good day for you?
Me, Sissy, and Jason... oh yeah, and Jager dog, too! :)
