With Sierra leaving last time, Survivor Tocantins has no obvious vote this round so the game can go in many different directions. Back at camp the group were excited to be the final six but Coach was angry about Erin and Taj voting for someone other then Sierra. He still thinks that the "Warrior Alliance" is in tact, which isn’t going to happen, and he doesn’t want people who "don’t play the game" as much as him still there. Debbie was the one who got his rant and went back to camp, somewhat annoyed at his constant complaints.Well that was a bit surprising, they are skimping on the intro again. Why haven’t they learned that this makes people mad… WE LIKE THE INTRO! Editors need to get the point.
The next morning Debbie was all about voting out Coach and discussed it with JT. He seemed somewhat against the idea though, realizing how big of a strategist Debbie has become. Down by the river, Stephen and JT bash Debbie and her annoying sayings. They were shocked when she showed up and listened to her claim she is with only them two. As she left they bashed her again and said how she’s acting so nice and naive, yet playing one of the biggest games there. I don’t see it. Of course she’s playing both sides right now, but other then this Debbie hasn’t done too much.
It was then time for the bidding reward challenge where there was a lack of prizes. The first was for fries, which Taj won. Next up was chicken parm with some win, which Coach bought for $300. It was then time for mystery prizes with JT getting the first, which was nachos while Stephen bought the second hidden prize, a few chicken hearts. He still ate them though, I probably would too considering how little they eat. Last up was the family visit, well phone video call. Everyone gave Taj their money as she cried, Jeff called her up and gave her the prize for only $20. While watching her video, Taj cried and missed the part where husband Eddie George said "see you back at camp". She missed that part until Jeff pointed it out, forcing everyone to freak out. She then had a choice, go to Exile with Eddie and let everyone else see their loved ones or go back to camp with Eddie alone. She chose being able to head to Exile and everyone rejoiced.
With her husband in Exile, Taj wanted to leave right away and he appeared right as she got there. The two hugged for awhile and Eddie was proud to see Taj doing so well. He said that he had much more respect for her now and loved being able to see her in the Survivor setting. Back at camp everyone was able to see their loved ones. JT’s sister was there and said the cows missed him, Debbie’s husband was there and their love grew, Erinn’s dad was there and they shared some fun moments, Stephen’s brother was there and he realized how much he missed home and Coach’s assistant coach was there, and he cracked Coach’s back. Yes… it was very odd.
After the family members left, Debbie went right back to talking about Coach leaving. This time with Erinn, JT and Stephen around. JT still thinks that Debbie is playing the game hard but Coach comes up to break up the talk. He says that Taj has to go since she could use the hidden idol, where has that been lately anyway? It’s rather MIA. Debbie then returns to talk to the guys alone and tells them that she is with the two to the end "swear to God". She then drops a huge bombshell by telling her them that if she gets to the final three with them, she will give them the idol if she wins it and let them go to the final two. They seem to believe her but know its all play… but then they tell Erinn. She didn’t want them to do it, considering it hurts her place in the game, and will now fight for Debbie to go home.
Taj returned for the immunity challenge that was all about math, which we now know Debbie sucks at. They had to first crawl under a beam in the sand, go over a balance beam and then crawl under ropes. At the end there were several mathematical symbols spinning on a log. They had to remember the symbols, go back through the course and put them between numbers. Once doing that, they had to figure out the solution to the problem, which would give them immunity. JT and Debbie were through first and had the most time to get the symbols. Coach, Taj, Stephen and Erinn went through in that order where Stephen had issues with the balance beam. Stephen was the only one to go to the symbols once and came back from behind to win the immunity. They locked the power between Stephen and JT yet again, but who will go? Seems that’s still up in the air.
Now that Debbie didn’t have the immunity idol she still fought for Coach to leave. Stephen/JT discussed and finally realized they are the power players in the game, and nobody cares. Nobody wants them out, but that’s because they all think they are aligned with them. With Taj back at camp they tell her about Debbie’s plea and work to stay, and she laughs. Taj seems to be on board for Debbie to go, but then the mind changes. JT and Stephen think that Debbie staying could be good as she probably would let them win at final three, and well they’d rather have her around then Coach. Coach then stops by to chat with the guys and pushes for Taj going. The mind then changes again as now they want Coach out, or so they say. It all comes down to JT and Stephen, yet again, and I have no doubt that one of them will win this game. They’ve been hyping it the entire season, and if one of them doesn’t win that will be the biggest shock of them all.
At Tribal Council it was all about Coach, as if he was going. Jeff asked him why he thought people were strong. Debbie was strong because she has integrity, while Taj is strong because she is away from her little son. Taj then brought out a great moment, calling Coach a "warrior" which Jeff asked where it came from. Well actually he said it probably came from a village chief, and Coach smiles but I think it made him a bit mad. Talk then turns to why Coach is strong, making it seems somewhat obvious Coach would be going. Sadly that didn’t happen though as Debbie was voted out with Taj getting a vote, Coach getting a vote and the rest going to her. She didn’t know it was coming but was glad to be out of the game and on jury. At least someone is happy to be voted out for once.
