Surprise for My Kiddos

The other night my kids (aged 5 & 3) fixed me a meal for a queen. It was fake food and I couldn't eat it, but it was still sweet.

I decided that they needed a sweet treat in return. What better place to go than the local DQ. It's pretty inexpensive if you get what we got.

          

These little icecream treats with sprinkles were only a dollar. We all three got one and then they played outside by the picnic tables for about an hour.

          

                

All I had to do was say, "Do you guys want to go get some icecream?" Then all you can hear for about five minutes is wild screaming.

                

My little guy enjoyed his icecream too. I am trying to spoil them while they still like me.

Now, that is paradise for any kid, isn't it?

When I treat my boys we usually go to McD around the corner for a hot fudge sundae ($1 each as well).

Now my son is saying he wants ice cream. ;) We made a dump cake earlier and he had ice cream with it, so he's not getting any tonight, though. Plus it's almost bedtime, so no sugar this late!

LOVE those chubby little hands gripping the spoon! The entire treat was magical for them, as childhood should be!
What a wonderful treat for them! I love doing small things like that for the kids, too.
