I just came across another social networking site that pays you for your time and effort.  it's called Myviewin.  it allows you to cash out at $50 with paypal and gives you $5.00 just for joining.

Thanks for the heads up! I've looked at the page and still haven't quite figured it out...other than possibly; it's similar to Gather in what's shared and how. I haven't heard about this site before. Is it possible it's still relatively new? If so, it might be worth a try early while there's money to be made. You never know when some of these 'older' sites will run their course, play themselves out and disappear.

rob, i just came across it today. the $5.00 bonus for joining is what got me started. it's kinda like a cross between the Facebook set up and Gather from what I can tell. i've already figured out how to upload photos and blog inside of 5 minutes so it seems pretty simple.

if you put your mouse over the word photos, it pulls up a list of other links and one is upload photos. to add profile photos, go to edit profile.

I had a question about the site.
I write romance novels and such.
And, most of them might have adult themes in them.
Do you think I could post excerpts of them there?
Or will I get kicked off the site for doing so?

angela, i think they are looking to be family friendly. as long as the romance is romance and not sex though, i think you will be okay.

i just read that they pay you at the end of the month. the more you refer, the more points you get, as well as points for page views and you get points as your referrals who joined gets points as well. what the algorithm is on points and how it translates to money, i don't know yet.
