There are some advantages to living in a desert climate. It is very green in the valley only because we figured out (not me of course) how to use the melting snow from the mountains.
Gardening is really fun in Utah--very few bugs, and it is not too hot.
But, at least you are a duck. I thought ducks liked rain. That reminds me of a children's book about some ducklings who decided they don't like rain. The title escapes me.
This rain has been giving me fits! I want to be out gardening but everytime I want to go out there and tackle it, the rains come down and then it is too mucky and too wet and I must wait for it to be dry enough and then when it is, the rain comes again and it never ends! Then the weeds are starting to look terribly tall and wild out there, I'd never be able to get them out before they take over the whole garden! ACK!
I'll have to look for that book... I have been collecting all versions of the "Ugly Duckling" book that I come across. Also Baby duckling books!
Thank you so much for this very sane take on insane to-do lists!
I love your song list.....they are so familiar...nice to be able to hum along.......
And to do lists? I have to do books. I guess I am out of touch.
This was too fun, Duckie, enjoyed it !
It's been raining so heavily and consistently we've had flood warnings all week and they're not lifting it until Monday. But with our record week-end rains falling, we'll probably keep the flood warnings on, too.
(This is one misnamed Duck. I can't swim... but don't tell anybody. My hubby called me Leadbutt the 3rd time I failed classes at the YMCA because I am terrified to put my face underwater)
I assume we can lie, right? I don't own any device with an actual playlist.
Ducks like rain! Ducks like rain!
Ducks like splishy splashing in the rain.
Ducks like rain! Ducks like rain!
Ducks llike the rainy weather
Water running off their feathers
Ducks like splishy splashing in the rain
Quack quack quack quack quack
Quack quack quack quack quack
Quack quack quack quack quack
Quack! Quack! Quack!
although i have a question about the yawning - are you reading dull posts or just not getting enough sleep?
no wait...

roflao...you are too funny duckie
Was wading in a puddle
Was wading in a puddle quite small.
To him it doesn't matter
How much I splash and splatter
I'm only a Duckie after all.
I sure am accomplishing my list a lot these days! It has been raining a lot. It rained last night again so it is too muddy to be out there yet, so guess where I am? On my butt here, Gathering again to the tune of <i>Row, Row Your Boat!
