The "New" Star Trek Movie is out Today
My husband, Robert, and I am going to try to make the 7pm showing tonight of Star Trek. We have been looking forward to seeing this ever since we heard they were going to make it. Robert has been checking the reviews of this movie at Rotten Tomatoes and it has been at 100% fresh tomatoes for a while and just went down to 93% fresh tomatoes. This is rare for any movie to have such rave reviews. Rotten Tomatoes consensus of this movie is that "Star Trek reignites a classic franchise with action, humor, a strong story, and brilliant visuals, and will please traditional Trekkies and new fans alike."
Any fans of the television show Heroes will recognize Sylar playing the role of Spock in this movie.
I love science fiction but the critics are saying that anyone who is not a fan will enjoy this movie as well. To read my first movie review click here: What the Vulcan?!
