I'm Not One For Prayers, but...

I could probably use a few right now. My dad called. My step-mom is being admitted to the hospital with total liver failure. The doctor said that if she got in tonight (she was up north), they could probably stop the damage, and.. well, I don't know what else. He said if they wait till morning, it'll be too late, and she won't live more than a few days.

We're waiting to hear back from my dad on what is going on before I head out over there.

 

MIA for a few days.

I've said a prayer, Heather. I hope for the best. My MIL went through this and she was able to make it out without any damage. When I first heard what was happening, I assumed she would have to be on dialysis, but she's better than ever. I hope things work out that well for your step-mother.
