I suggest if you don't have a will get one.
I found even with a will things can still be messy.

If you have kids it is best you do a will no matter your age. If you want your kids to go to one person you better set that up the day they are born... you just never know. I have seen this happen to a friend of my husband so I know this for a fact. I did this the day I got out of the hospital with all my kids.

My husband and I each have wills and we also had them done for our children. It is so important.

Make sure you discuss with your attorney whether or not a will is the best vehicle to transfer your assets versus a trust. Also the most basic planning you can do on your- make
sure beneficiaries on life insurance, retirement accounts, annuities are up to date.
